Club Goals 2007-2009
Zonta Club of Marietta and Environs current goals:
- Foster a growing club by increasing the membership from 27 to 40 by 2009. We encourage each current member to bring in one new member during this time to fulfill this goal.
- Appoint a mentor for each new member for their first year of membership to help them to gain a better understanding of what Zonta is all about.
- Retain current membership by keeping members informed and by building an environment within our organization that encourages involvement with many interesting and worthwhile causes.
- Investigate the possibility of starting a "Z-Club" or "Golden Z-Club" with one of the local schools or universities.
- Adopt a local service project for Zonta members to be able to continuously volunteer for service hours at any time throughout the year.
- The service committee plans to evaluate our current service projects to determine which projects our members enjoy and feel impact our community the most.
- Continue the Unique Boutique twice a year and come up with ways to make it an even bigger success each and every year!
- Determine ways to increase club recognition thru PR efforts to educate the community about Zonta and Zontas objectives.
- Maintain a current "up-to-date" Website and Newsletter to keep all members informed of current projects and opportunities that Zonta offers.
